Mech Model Mayhem

Goal: 

Create a full model from scratch, only using image references as guides

Process:

• Find image reference for a complex design to model

• Divide the art into pieces to figure out what parts to model

• Start with simple parts that can be mirrored such as the guns

• Create a base shape for the chassis, to get a sense of size

• Make the leg which can be mirrored

• Then the waist

• Create the detailed chassis, as it has the hardest design to mimic

• Final adjustments and finishing details

• Combine all the parts
